I really enjoyed learning about the different photo both effects and learning how to better organize my i-photo library so that I don't have so many events making it a lot easier to find the pictures that I want.

I really enjoyed the class tonight. I have used i-photo for some things, but haven't used it lately. I would love to have my students use my cameras and allow the students to take pictures and add them into a slide show to show at the end of the year. I have actually done this and the kids loved it.
I can see easily how even using this tool to display pictures and narrate it, could take the place of a power point in some cases.
I think this was a very useful class.

I love this, but still need a lot of practice!

Tonight we had instruction on using cameras and photos in the classroom. I have taken a lot of photos and have them in I Photo but have never done anything with them. I will definitely use IPhoto now to share with the students and parents. I am taking a trip to Germany this summer and can't wait to use some of the techniques that we talked about. (Yes, I know that is personal and not for school use but I am really excited about it.) Thanks for educating me beyond the easy use of technology.

The digital imaging class was very informative, as we were given a better understanding of what to look for in a digital camera. The opportunities that the program like Photo Booth provides as a mean to provide students an interesting background for a video book report. Also these photo's could be useful in creating a comic book with the Comic Life program. I would like to use iPhoto as a way to take "contemporary" photo's as students could dress up as pioneers, civil war soldiers, and dust bowl/depression era characters, thus giving students a genuine experience and a personal connection to history.

I needed the basics! Thank you for explaining about the digital camera, iphoto, and photo booth. I plan to take photos of my students wearing the Cat in the Hat, hat. With those photos I will make a slide show. My students will love it!

What a great summary of cameras, IPhoto and online photo sites. I think using photo booth as a reinforcer would be a fun, green choice for the students ( 3 minutes in exchange for some points and having a photo printed for more points) I am going to use photos to work on syntax skills- having the students practice regular and irregular past tense verbs while describing the slideshow of their photos.

I am excited to use Photobooth with my students. We are going to write 'important' things about ourselves (based on The Important Book). We will then illustrate the digital/audio book with photobooth pictures. With the same pictures and writing, we can print a 'autobiographical page' for the students to keep. I am excited to do this.

I also loved the info on digital cameras. The zoom information was especially helpful. It explains some bad pictures. :)

Thanks for the great class!
