March 10, 2011 - iTunes and iTunes U - Finding Great Content Online

iTunes and iTunes U - Finding Great Content Online
What comes to mind when you think of iTunes? We hope what will come to mind in the future is all of the great free content that is available through iTunes. Yes, there is lots of free content in iTunes in the podcast section. Now if you have iPods, they are great delivery vehicles for this content. However, not having an iPod doesn't have to be a deterrent to using it. You can listen to or view all of the content you download on your computer, and in the case of audio burn it to a cd for listening in cd players.

Ok 2nd post hopefully will be the charm!

I really enjoyed the informative video cast about itunes and itunes U. As a daily user of itunes I am amazed at all the stuff I learned. I always searched for similar podcasts through looking at the "other subscribers of this podcast also subscribe to..." Using the itunes browser so much easier and quicker too. Then one of the most important things I learned was how to use and what the purpose of itunes U is. I have seen in on my ipod and itouch for the past couple of years and never knew what its purpose was until now. I look forward to scanning through some college courses and acquire some college professional development for free.

Thanks for the class again.

Itunes U was the most intriguing part of this workshop. I learned so many new and interesting applications to acquire free information. I also learned new things about how to interface my iPod. Honestly, I have been apprehensive to delve more into using it; I don't want to erase all my data! Hopefully, this class will toughen me up, Thank You.

Enjoyed your video! Thanks for doing that! I hope to go back and refer to it again. I was amazed to learn about itunes U. What a great resource for me! I went into K-12 and watched two videos on math, numerals and place value. I want to spend time and explore more of what is offered.
Thanks again,

I just watched the itunes/itunes U video. It was very informative. I have not yet had much of a chance to play with it though. I can see it as a valuable tool not only for my own use, but for use in the classroom as well. I definitely need to play with it and get more familiar with itunes. I haven't used it yet. Thanks for recording it for those of us who couldn't be there.
