Way Cool. I just made the outline for my back to school presentation. Loved the graphics and Camel in the Classroom movie was a fun ending. I will have fun adding and tweaking things to this every year.

I really like the how easy Keynote is to use. It might be a little harder to learn over powerpoint, because of my familiarity, but I will be using this over what I'm familiar with. The fun styles of transitions will be more interesting for my students than the standard styles provided by Microsoft. I would use the looping slide show ability WITH passwords for back-to-school nights. The one down side of this program is the various formats that my fellow colleagues use, making the sharing aspect harder (with powerpoint/keynote).

Wow! it was a lot to swallow tonight. I really want to learn how to use this as I can see how it wold be great in the classroom. The one I started tonight was based on Medieval Fair we did in February and It would have been great fun to have it playing during parent teacher conferences. At this time, I will admit that I feel much more comfortable with Power Point but am willing to learn and will try hard.

I enjoyed using keynote, but since I am much more familiar with powerpoint, at this point I would still use it. I will need to practice this a lot more before I feel familiar enough to use it for classroom presentations. I could see this being used for a back to school presentation. I have created powerpoints for different ares of curriculum, especially for my Spanish immersion class. There is so little out there!

I can see the benefits of keynote. It is a very cool and fun program. I am sure it will take some practice to be able to use all the features and be quick about it.

I am thinking of doing a geometry/quadrilateral lesson in keynote. I found a great video that could be embedded. Each slide could talk about the rules of quadrilaterals, show samples of them, and show the video.

I don't know about using it with my second graders yet. I could see them messing up the design features. However, I could see us making animal posters (or similar) and putting all student posters together into one presentation.

Thanks for the great class. When are you doing a refresher for all the things I forget after tonight?

A Keynote presentation would be really cool at Back to School night or at Parent Teacher Conferences. With students it would be cool to have them make a Keynote presentation showing their knowledge about the earth, moon and planets. They could get some great pictures from the internet.

Wow, it was really fun seeing how the movie import works. This can really come in handy for demos, paybacks, reading fluency, math thinking, etc.
I could use this in Special Ed for tons of things and help the kids with their reg ed class work.

I can also see applications for personal use.

Great Class! Keynote has a lot to it! I started making my Back to School presentation. This will definitely help me remember all that I need to cover without forgetting something important. I think the students and parents will enjoy the benefit of both the visual and the auditory effects.
Thank you!
